The Comeback
I cant thank everyone enough for your kind words, prayers, and donations to the Red Cross. Rest assured, I have witnessed your money being put to work. I saw the joy a case of bottled water can bring to thirsty family. I saw hungry people eat warm meals. I saw sick people get medical care. I can easily type all day long about the great deeds your money has done. However, I would rather use my voice to tell you.
On Monday, I will head to Rochester on a one-way ticket. I am going to take the next few days to continue to clear the debris from my hometown and my head. I will tell you… Things are getting better each day!
I will be in-town Monday evening, and in-studio on Tuesday morning…
We can catch up then….
Thanks again, for everything…

Newman-I have been trying to leave a note for you for a while. Computer trouble, I guess. I am thinking of you & your family & wish you all the best. We can only imagine what you have been through, but please know that my thoughts & prayers are with you. I know someone who works with the Red Cross & is in Texas now. When he returns in a couple of weeks, I can just imagine what he’ll have to say. God Bless you & I’m glad you’re coming here for a bit. I’m sure you’ll get lots of hugs. I’m sending you mine right now.
Love,
Noreen

Salutations Jeremy!
Does WBEE have a way to track how many responses each person’s blog receives? I think you are the heartbeat of WBEE and I hope the bosses realize what a treasure you are to the station.
You have a fabulous charisma and you and Terry have a wonderful on-air rapport. I love your interactions with her- you know to tease her and still be respectful- except about her calculator!(heehee- just kidding!)
Have a fabulous rest of your life. ”
“Do not store up treasures for yourself in things of this earth that mold and decay but set your treasure on heavenly things.”
Our stuff is not who we are. Love you lots.

Jeremy, I moved up to the Rochester area from Horseheads NY, going on 2 years ago. When I first moved up here I was so home sick. I too felt displaced. I hit on Wbee right away. It didn’t take long to feel like one of the Wbee crowd. I listen to the bee morning coffee club every morning on the way to work, or anytime I’m in my car. So when I learned that Ike was headed for you. My thoughts and prayers went out to you and everyone in its path.
Take Care,
Patti

Jeremy ~ you are such a strong, influential person in Mass Media. To share your experience and loss is a credit to your personality. You bring real life and comedy together. I am so sorry about your home town, yet you are a figher that will not give up. NEVER GIVE UP! You make me laugh and sometimes feel young.
You are our town boy and we love you dearly. You brighten so many peoples live on the radio along with Terry clifford and the others. There is no show like WBEE. It is the best in entertainment and really listening to the ones that enjoy the show.
You deserve many pats on the back, and remeber you are special to all of us here in Rochester.

Jeremy - When the storm started to roll across the Gulf, our first thoughts were of our family who were in the direct path at that time. When it started to change direction, it was my husband Chris who brought to our attention that you were down in the area that was going to be hit. Unfortunately like many you lost your possesions, but remeber you still have your health, your mind and your being. My husbands family has some very special friends down in that area and it took over a week to track them down, they too had extensive damage, but were all safe. Even at this end of the world when we deal with the ice and snow we too can loose alot. As long as we keep the laugh in our hearts and the smiles on our faces we can get through anything. We have enjoyed you and the rest of the morning team, you even converted my oldest to a regular listner. Keep up the chin, and remeber the good lord only give you what he feels you can handle. And know that even though you think enough is enough, he may not.
