Good luck to you and your family and everyone down there (my family included). I am thinking about you all since I have been in a hurricane or two myself and the days ahead will be the hardest but hang in there and let Rochester know if there is anything we can do for you. God Bless

    Newmie…

Hang in there man… we’ll be following your plight all weekend… Aside from knowing you, I have relatives in Cypress, 2 cousins are police officers and are on duty. They sent the ladies inland. May God bless you and your family, and everyone else down there and He will keep you safe.

  4. Karen Says:

    Newman-

We just caught you on the news- you are in our prayers. Houses can be rebuilt-make sure that you and your family are safe. Hang in there- please be sure to let us know up here in Rochester what we can do. Thinking of you-

    Hey Newman …
Just wanted to say that you’ve been on my mind throughout the day. I lived in Miami and “enjoyed” Hurricane Andrew. I would rather shovel snow every day than to have that experience again. Now I live on the Lake in Hilton and I stood here tonight looking out onto the water trying to imagine what a 20 foot wave would do to my little house. No matter what your world looks like tomorrow … don’t loose your sense of humor!

  6. Kelly Says:

    Prayers continued your way!

  7. Megan Says:

    Hey Newman
Yesturday when I was driving my daughter to daycare you were saying that you were going further inland with your granparents. But yesturday afternoon I called in about the 9/11 stories and heard you all had to move further inland.
I hope you all are doing fine and staying safe in Texas- my friends and I all listen to the Bee morning Coffee club and will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers and we all hope to hear from you Monday.

  16. Bev Says:

Just read Terry’s lastest. Thank God your whole family is safe. Newman, any blizzard we have up here is better than what you are going through. I suggest you pack your whole family up and move them up here where they will never have to go through that again. The family business could diversify into jet skis, boats, Harleys and snowmobiles. Year round business!!! But really Thank God you are all safe.
