Do you own Topsiders? If so, do you wear them? If not, how long has it been?

HI,
I have a pair I wear around the house, “Bass” (but my feet arn’t as ugly as Steves) I don’t wear them outside, they don’t provide enough support. Saw the pic. of your bike, Nice, but 2 wheeled vehicles make me break things! like feet, garage doors and such. Been there. Have a good one
Hi Newman,
How are you? Never had a pair and don’t think the women’s styles are very attractive to say the least. The pair you show online is nice. However, tell Steve to kick it up a notch and check out the ones at http://www.onlineshoes.com/productlist.asp?ptclass=brand&brandid=22&ptcat=Sperry%20Top-Sider&gen=m&attribute_value_string|AgeGroupID=1&attribute_value_string|Shop%20Sale=Yes&attribute_value_string|Brand%20Name=Sperry%20Top-Sider&brand_category|0=BrandCategories~brand_root
(Basically - www.onlineshoes.com) He’s needs to get out more!! Enjoy your show!!
Yes, I have them and grew up on the 1000 Islands we wore them on the boat and in the water. In fact, I think I spent more time in the water (I have older brothers and sisters. Like others we called them docksiders.
like the others I have never heard of them as called topsiders. Only docksiders. I actually don’t think they are that bad a shoe. I preferr them to the white sock and sneaker thing, which is all my husband wears . they are the only shoe he will wear and they actually look decent sockless with jeans in the summer. GO STEVE!!!
I have actually been looking for a pair. The boat store wants way too much for them but I love them. I never heard of them as Topsiders, only docksiders. I prefer them to the sandal and sock thing. What’s the point there?

Newman, the ones you picked for Steve are worse than the classic topsiders. Topsiders are for boating, keep them on the boat!

My boyfriend wears them on the weekend during summer … they are his “boat shoes”

I loved the ones I owed back in the 80s. Wore them everyday until the sole fell off! I didn’t think they made them anymore…
