4 Years Later
Friday, June 6th marks my 4 year anniversary at WBEE. 6 months at night and the rest in the morning. Even though Terry Clifford bad-mouths me to the suits, she has yet to get me fired. I don’t want to get all sappy, but thanks for allowing me to have such a wonderful work situation.
P.S. If T-Byrd approaches you with a petition, DO NOT sign it.

hi Newman congratulations being on the station for four years. I’m miss you being on the night show it hasnt been the same since you went to the morning show. I also miss talking to you at night.

Newman - Congrats on the 4 year mark. How time flys. I used to listen to you at night when I was out in the barn with the horses and it must have been a site if anyone caught me laughing as I was listening to your show. I so remember all the games you played for the listeners. And now I get to listen to you on my drive to work and all morning long. There has been so many times that I have sat in my truck in the morning after I arrived at work just to listen to you finish a story. And more than likely, I was sitting in there laughing. Newman you’re a keeper for sure.

Hey Newman - I never caught your show at night but am so glad they switched you to the morning show!!!! It is so great that you can do the show from home. It always sounds like you are sitting right next to T-bird, Steve and Jackson. Congrats on your anniversary!!!!! Be careful on that bike!!

I have been listening to WBEE for 2 years now, and I do not know if i would have continued if I hadn’t listened to the morning show first…Newman, I love your made up stories and your wonderful songs and just for sounding like a great person.

Congrats on 4 years! I remember when you were on the night show and you were busted on about your “fake” accent, how rude! I absolutely LOVE you guys on the Morning show! But to be fair to Terry, I think you should bake for HER since she has to put up with you and your antics!

Newman I have to say you are a strange bird at times … I remember when you first started your show at night and I had to sit in my car to make sure I was hearing correctly on what you were saying sometimes. I was ! You sure have a way of keeping me in the car waiting for your next line. I think you are way mature for your age and have a wonderful sense of humor ! Keep up with your stories they are great !

The morning show has been so much fun since you were added. I DID NOT like you at night. When you switched up to team with Terry and STeve it was just more fun. And I hope all that bantering that goes on is just teasing. It is fun and this is the way I like to start my days.

Congrats on your 4 years! I absolutely LOVE having you on in the morning. I work 3rds so I listen to Big Daddy all night and then when you come on in the morning with Terry and Steve it wakes me up and gives me a laugh. I’ve laughed so hard driving home sometimes it’s a wonder I’ve made it. When you announced you were leaving before, I thought I’d never listen again. I’m so glad you’re still on and you totally make the morning for me. I just want to know- how come you have no girlfriend or wife yet? You’re not a bad looking man. I’ll be waiting for a reply. And do you prefer skinny girls, round girls or what? Just wondering.

*Congrats Newman!* ~I want to let you know that my radio is ALWAYS on when you are. You guys are hilarious & constantly keeping me entertained to the point that I am late to punch into work in the morning b/c I want to know what you are going to say next!! I have introduced soo many people to your station and your show b/c I refuse to put anything else on if there is a radio near me!

Congratulations on 4 great years. I am so glad that you were able to work from home, it wouldn’t have been the same without you. You are the best, don’t ever leave. Maybe a move back north if you and Dr. Dube work out is in your future. Good luck!! We love ya!!

Just had to stop in and say that you are a trip Newman. I am a truck driver for Superior Truck Lines in Port Gibson and I remember when I first heard you on the radio and thought…this guy is friggin strange!! lol but after a few shows…you really keep me smiling. Your a riot man. I guess I thought that way in the beginning because you are like me. You say what’s on your mind…but you make sure when you do…you actually have something to say. Good job buddy!!
